Just A few reasons to get a Massage:

Stress - Tension - Headaches - Stiffness - Sinus Congestion - Chronic Pain - Arthritis - Posture Imbalance - Muscle Spasms

  • MASSAGE THERAPY:  Incorporates various ranges of pressure.  Please note: depending on the clients' needs/requests, there may be temporary soreness with some of the deeper modalities.  Each massage therapist will use a variety of massage therapy applications, variations, and techniques during the massage session to meet the individual needs of each client.
  • MYOFASCIAL RELEASE:  Myofascial Release is a very effective hands-on technique that provides sustained pressure into Myofascial restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. Myofascial Release techniques are generally a mild and gentle form of stretching that have a profound effect upon the body tissues. The theory of Myofascial Release requires an understanding of the fascial system (or connective tissue). Fascia surrounds every other tissue and organ of the body, including nerves, vessels, muscle and bone. The fascial system is actually one structure that exists from head to foot without interruption. In this way you can begin to see that each part of the entire body is connected to every other part by the fascia.
  • SWEDISH:  Traditional European relaxation massage.  This treatment is designed to improve circulation & flexibility, relieve muscle tension, increase energy flow & reduce stress.
  • DEEP TISSUE or Trigger Point:  A therapeutic massage technique that releases aches, pain & tension in specific areas of chronic discomfort.  This massage involves deep pressure that runs across the muscles to decompress & lengthen muscle groups.
  • SPORTS MASSAGE:  Decompresses & lengthens the muscles, tendons, & other connective tissues by combining high-impact massage techniques & assisted stretches to relieve acute muscle soreness, improve flexibility & increase range of motion.
  • PREGNANCY MASSAGE:  Modified Swedish-style, designed to alleviate added tension on the shoulders, back, legs, & feet while maintaining the skin’s elasticity & assisting with water retention.  Doctor’s approval is required.
  • AROMATHERAPY-Raindrop Technique:  Is a powerful, non-invasive tool for assisting the body in correcting defects in the curvature of the spine by utilizing the antiviral, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory action of several key essential oils.  During the years that it has been practiced, it has resolved numerous cases of scoliosis, kyphosis, and chronic back pain.  Further, it has eliminated the need for back surgery for hundreds of people.  By integrating Vita Flex and massage, the power of essential oils brings the body into structural and electrical alignment.
  • THAI YOGA MASSAGE:  A modality of massage combining acupressure, gentle stretching and applied yoga. Thai Yoga treatment helps to restore the free flow of energy and helps to increase flexibility and mobilization of the joints.
  • HOT STONE MASSAGE:  A massage technique involving the use of warm basalt stones which are placed on the body to deliver heat, relaxation, and increase blood flow. A stone may also be used as a massage tool for a more effective and specific deep tissue effect.
  • CRANIAL SACRAL THERAPY:  A type of bodywork involving light touch and gentle manipulation of the skull, spine, and fascia, in an effort to optimize the flow of the cerebrospinal fluid. Cranial Sacral Therapy addresses brain and spinal cord dysfunctions, learning disabilities, autism, posttraumatic stress disorder, cancer recovery, and pain. This modality was developed by Dr. Upledger to treat physical and emotional trauma and assist clients with the healing process.
  • LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE:  Is a technique that involves gentle manual pumping maneuvers in order to aid in the proper circulation of body fluids. This therapy helps to stimulate the immune system, reduce swelling, and detoxify the body. It helps to treat pain and reduces signs of aging. Lymphatic Drainage also helps speed up recovery from surgical procedures and reduces the visibility of scars.
